How will a CragStone website help me generate more profit?
According to the US Office of Small Business Advocacy, 65%
of all businesses investing in their first website see an
increase in business that at least pays for the website
investment. 27% of all businesses investing in their
first website see an increase in business that pays for the
website within 3-6 months. In addition to increased
business, some of our clients have reported increasing their
rates due to their new, more professional, image. More
business at a higher margin = more profit.
How do I become eligible for the
lowest published website rates?
Existing CragStone customers, who have previously
purchased an Edge Series package with CragStone and take
advantage of CragStone's hosting services, may get a new
website at a reduced rate. The convenience of working
with material that we've developed and coded makes it easier
for us to perform site upgrades for existing customers.
How long will it take to get my CragStone website?
Since you are providing information that goes into your
website, this question depends largely on you.
CragStone can develop the basic Edge Series Packages within
5-7 business days of having all of the website content.
During times of exceptionally high sales volume, the process
may take longer (up to 3 weeks). Your Account Consultant
will be able to give you the expected delivery time for your
website once all of your website content is received and
update you on the status of your website's development
through the entire process.
How does the website development process work at CragStone?
Place an order for an Edge Series package. Within 24
hours you will be contacted by your Account Consultant.
Your AC will take you through the design selection process
and answer any questions you have about enhancement features
and the value they may (or may not) bring to your specific
business. You will receive a contract for the website
development work that you have selected and a separate
invoice for any optional enhancements that you may have
selected. Submit your text and images for the website
- along with where you would like to see the information
within the site (on what page). CragStone will develop
your site and put it up for review so that corrections and
minor changes may be made (change of word choice - not
changing paragraphs). Upon changes and corrections,
the site will be ready for final review and sign-off.
Will I be able to make changes to my CragStone website?
If you currently manage a website, or have access to
FrontPage, DreamWeaver or similar program, then you will be
able to make changes to the website.
Will CragStone hold my website
hostage?
Absolutely not! Have your website hosted wherever you
choose. In fact, if you'd like, you may purchase a
CD-ROM of your CragStone website and files. CragStone
believes that your website belongs to you and will never
hold it, or your domain name, hostage.
Why do I need a domain name and
hosting? Your website is
like a print ad. Like a print ad, it needs to be "published"
to be seen. The Internet is like the magazine into which you
are putting the ad. To rent space on the Internet, and put
your ad (website) there, you need to have hosting (it is a renewable
cost - you need to keep renting space to keep your website
on the Internet). Domain names organize the information on
the Internet - giving your website a specific place to
be found (also a renewable cost).
Why can't I see the designs before I
buy the website?
Because of the increasing numbers of design theft and
violations of design copyright, we reserve the majority of
our designs for review by our paying customers. If you do
not find a design that you like in first 3 groups that we
send you, we will refund your money. There is no risk to
you.
What if I don't like the web
designs that you send me? We
will send you more. If after 3 groups of designs, you have
not found a single one that you like, then we will refund
your money to you. We are that confident that you will be
impressed with our professionally-designed websites. There
is no risk to you.
